Reasonable...

20:34 Jul 23 2008
Times Read: 646

I have come to the conclusion that there are an awful lot of people that are just plain "unreasonable". They are in a field unto themselves, or so they believe.

Truthfully, managing someone who believes that of himself is a massive chore. It strikes me as hilarious that they don't want to follow the guidelines established in a training setting or otherwise and then get upset at everyone else for "disturbing" them.

I think that this individual needs to get a life lesson in understanding that the world is not about them. The world is not about one individual, no matter how much we want to believe it.

I personally believe in manipulating situations and others, but I don't expect the world to bow to me. Yet.

"I think working for you will help me overcome my shyness. "

What? Being outgoing on the phones requires a non-shy personality. WTF?

Disturbed

It's disturbing to me that my cell phone bill is sitting at $700. I call in for a credit and they want to credit me for like $282. When I'm done with sup Q I am so calling in and yelling at someone.

The thing about management

05:20 Jul 10 2008
Times Read: 669

The thing about management is when you get those fucking losers who aren't there to do the job and expect that they are going to be given the world of exceptions. Somehow people come to work thinking that they should be able to do whatever the fuck they want and not be held accountable for things like... work avoidance.

I have this little mother f-er at work who is just irritating the crap out of me. He abuses FMLA, is a total loser, is a complete jerk, and doesn't want to work but wants to get paid $16.00 an hour.

I confronted him today along with another person in management and talked to him about call cycling, which is a form of work avoidance. He has the gall to make excuses for this inexcuseable behavior.

Well, code of conduct this, you worthless little shit... I can say whatever the hell I want to here because... no one knows I have an account here! :)

If I so much as catch him breathing wrong I'm going to have him terminated soooooo fast. And it will be my great pleasure to walk him out of the building. Mind your p's and q's, little boy. The alpha female is watching and WILL drive all disease out of the pack.

Thoughts of "the other woman"

04:52 Jul 06 2008
Times Read: 683

Some people think that "the other woman" is about power over that which doesn't belong to you. Really? It sucks. It really sucks. You have to be rather strong to not emotionally fall for this other person. Because the minute you do, it starts to hurt.

The nature of VR... And all social networks.

06:02 Jul 05 2008
Times Read: 701

The Hellequin mentioned he thought VR had become boring. My answer is this: it's always this boring. When you lead a life of relative intrigue, all social networks are a little dull by comparison.

I come back to VR after a while and visit to drop in and relax and chat. Mostly to read journals. That's my own version of voyeurism I guess.

I have 3 social networks I like. I go in between them week to week or day to day. On some boring days, hour to hour. For the most part, I find the Internet is rather lackluster these days. Not a lot new and not a lot that fascinates me.
